Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Aileen Phifer Dancy, 38, of 3416 Anson Street, Apartment 1, Charlotte, died March 26 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte of cancer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dancy were conducted at 2 p.m. last Friday at the Charlotte chapel of McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte, and burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte.

A native of Iredell County, Mrs. Dancy was a retail clerk for K Mart Department Stores in Charlotte and a member of Fairbluff Bible Chapel in Charlotte.

Surviving are: two daughters, Miss Wanda Dancy and Miss Teresa Dancy, both of Charlotte; the father, James Phifer of Mooresville; two brothers, Charles Phifer of Cornelius and Wayne Phifer of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. Emmie Addison of Charlotte; the stepmother, Mrs. Lucy Phifer of Mooresville; two step-sisters, Mrs. Pat Heavner of Mooresville and Mrs. Barbara Smith of Kannapolis; and one step-brother, Joe Christopher of Mooresville.
