Obituary

Sharon Faye Martin Hegler, 59, of Mooresville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 at her residence. Born Jan. 15, 1949 in Mooresville, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Ruth Beam Martin. She was employed with Iredell Memorial Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church in Statesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gail M. Ervin. She is survived by her children, Michelle Edmiston and husband, Wes, of Troutman, and Bryan Hegler of Davidson; sisters, Diane Edwards and Elaine Martin, both of Mooresville; grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Hegler and Megan and Emily Edmiston. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Diamond Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Williams and Rev. Larry Holleman officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends today, Friday, Jan. 25 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville.
